In the year one thousand eight hundred and fifteen on the thirteenth day of January, Lonardo [sic] Priore age 48, a laborer living on Capolaterra Street, and Vincenzo Lacava age 50, a laborer living on Capolaterra Street, appeared before me, Vincenzo Bonadies, mayor and registrar of the town of Corleto, province of Basilicata. They reported that on the twelfth day of January at 8:00 p.m., Giuseppe Priore died at his home on Capolaterra Street. By profession a laborer, he was seventy-five years old, the son of Lonardo Priore; the name of his mother is unknown because she died in the community of Gallicchio. He leaves the following children: Lonardo, Rosa and Caterina.2
